ABOUT
Bill bought his first rental house in 1982.
Looking for a change from his electrician job, Bill started buying rental houses in his neighborhood of North Everett, Washington. The first one being his primary home, and then he purchased the house next door, and it continued to snowball. His handyman skills paid off as he renovated many old homes, making them habitable rentals. Years later, he was able to quit his job and work full time on his rentals, managing all the paperwork and doing all the maintenance himself. He continued to buy and sell properties, ultimately securing multiple apartment buildings and houses in a great neighborhood of Mount Vernon.
Nice dwellings for nice people.
Bill was passionate about creating nice homes for people, and his greatest joy in life was providing "nice dwellings for nice people." The tenants became his friends and he went out of his way to make sure the buildings and the neighborhoods were safe and quiet, a place people wanted to live. This holds true as many tenants stay for a long time, and many come back, seeking a fair and responsive landlord like Bill.
Rossman Rentals continues.
Today, Bill's daughter and son-in-law continue to offer the same great service and care to the people and the maintenance of their homes. It is an honor to follow the footsteps of a man who cared about the small details, like lowering a shelf so the resident could use it, and shoveling snow in the driveways after a winter storm. We work with the same giving spirit and continue the mission at Skagit Co Rossman Rentals.
